Many fellow birders and photographers have spent some time with each other and a rare Northern Hawk Owl that has taken up winter residence about 4 hours south of here. Meanwhile I was able to visit Tobermory with a couple of other birders and get some images of a non-breeding male Harlequin Duck which is more my style. Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park . Harlequin Ducks are normally found on the west and east coasts of North America so this was a big thrill for me.
