We found this Prairie Rattlesnake along a trail in Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta. We alerted a family with small children of its presence and it was wonderful to see them give the snake plenty of space with plenty of positive language regarding its place here on planet Earth. Armed with my big lens, we were able to keep a safe and respectful distance away too.
