When I lived in Wawa in the mid-seventies, winter days were spent ice fishing and always included hot dogs roasted over a campfire. That is my first memory of ever seeing a Canada Jay as they readily grabbed portions of bun from our hands. The Canada Jays in Algonquin Park have been under study for over 55 years and you can see the radio antenna attached to this one.
